Are you an Employment Solicitor looking for locum/temp work?
We have an opportunity for an Employment Solicitor to join a Legal 500 firm in Reading on a 12-month FTC as maternity cover.
Key Responsibilities:
* Offering day-to-day legal and HR guidance.
* Assisting with internal disciplinary matters.
* Advising on TUPE issues in transactions and outsourcing.
* Handling employee terminations, settlements, and tax considerations.
* Representing clients in tribunals for unfair dismissal and discrimination claims.
* Managing wrongful dismissal and discrimination cases.
* Delivering workshops and seminars on employment law.
* Exposure to immigration and data protection issues.
Requirements:
* Qualified Solicitor with 2-5 years PQE in Employment Law.
* Ability to work independently.
* Willingness to help with marketing and growing the business.
* Ability to apply the law in a practical, business-focused way.
