Job Title: Early Years Practitioner

Salary: £12.82 per hour

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent (Part-time can also be arranged for the right candidate)
GSL Education are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and reliable Early Years Practitioner (EYP) to join a vibrant primary school in Poole. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the early development of children in a caring and stimulating environment where every day brings new discoveries.
Responsibilities of Early Years Practitioner:
* Supporting early years children through play-based learning and daily routines.
* Encouraging independence, communication, and social interaction.
* Helping to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
* Observing and recording children's progress and assisting with planning next steps.
* Providing gentle emotional support and encouragement throughout the day.
We Are Looking for Someone Who:
* Has experience working with young children or a keen interest in early education.
* Is a university student or graduate seeking valuable experience in a school setting.
* Brings energy, patience, and kindness to every interaction.
* Is adaptable and confident in supporting children with a range of learning needs.
* Has SEN experience – this is a plus, but not essential.
* Can provide an up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps explained.
* Holds or is willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS registered on the update service.
