Financial Analyst, Buckinghamshire
£45,000 - £50,000
To assist in ensuring the Group's financial model is kept up to date and reflects the Board's assumptions and growth ambitions.
Work with Development, Sales and Treasury to ensure the 30 year financial plan contains the requisite information and is properly stress-tested and meets regulatory requirements.
Provide support to the business and assisting in the preparation of development financial reports for various committees.
Key Accountabilities:
* Assist in updating financial model.
* Assist in testing the Group's capacity for growth and new projects using the financial model.
* Support the development team in the use of ProVal for appraisal purposes
* Support the strategic asset management team in appraising existing assets
* To assist in the coordination the production of annual budgets with the relevant budget holders
* Assist in testing the model for multi-faceted scenarios (stress-testing)
* In conjunction with the Development Finance Business Partner be the key finance point of contact for the development team
* Develop a strong working relationship with development and strategic asset management, gaining knowledge of systems, timetables and reporting capabilities to ensure the receipt of accurate and timely information
* Support in linking the development of long term cash flow & delivery forecast to NROSH and Brixx reporting
* Coordinate Sequel inputs and review/challenge outputs
* Deputise for the corporate finance manager in their areas of responsibility as and when required
* Any other reasonable duties as required
What we are looking for:
* Good academic track record within finance / real estate
* Able to demonstrate strong technical skills with Excel
* Demonstrable skills & experience in complex long term business plan modelling
* Experience of working with Brixx or aptitude would be a bonus
* Experience in the social housing sector would be beneficial
* Able to translate complex data into easily understandable outputs
