Telent is looking for a Trainee Traffic Installation Technician to join our team of Traffic Signals / Traffic Lighting specialists in Gloucestershire. This is a field-based role requiring a full UK driving license and willingness to travel and work in all weather conditions.
If you have electrical installation knowledge or experience, hold an Electrical Engineering diploma/certificate, and want to start a new career with structured training, this opportunity is for you.
Join our engineering team to work closely with experienced traffic engineers on installing, maintaining, and testing traffic signals and electrical components in Gloucestershire. Training includes on-the-job learning, desk-based, and online modules, leading to NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Highways Electrical Installations, and sector certifications like ECS and NHSS Chapter 8.
Ideal candidates are interested in field-based engineering, with some exposure to electrical installations or a related college course. We encourage beginners eager to start a career in this field to apply.
