SEND Case Officer – Early Years Team Location: London Local Authority (1 day on-site per week) Contract: 3 months Start Date: ASAP Rate: £290 per day (Inside IR35) About the Role: We are seeking an experienced SEND Case Officer to join As Early Years Team in a London Local Authority. You will manage a caseload of children aged 0-8 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), coordinating assessments and developing Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) in compliance with statutory requirements. Your role as a SEND Case Officer - Early Years Team: Coordinate EHCP assessments, gathering information from families and professionals. Draft and review EHCPs, ensuring timely completion within statutory deadlines. Communicate effectively with families, educational settings, and health and social care services. Ensure compliance with the Children’s & Families Act 2014 and the SEN Code of Practice 2015. Your requirements as a SEND Case Officer - Early Years Team: Proven experience as a SEND Case Officer, particularly within Early Years. Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and processes Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and attend on-site in London one day per week.
