About the Role:
This is a full-time teaching role supporting students with complex SEN needs. You will be responsible for delivering tailored lessons that engage and inspire, helping each student reach their full potential. You will work closely with a team of experienced professionals, including SEN support staff and therapists, to create a nurturing and structured learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons adapted to individual learning needs.
* Support students with a range of complex SEN needs, including communication and social difficulties.
* Implement positive behaviour management strategies, fostering a safe and inclusive classroom.
* Work collaboratively with support staff, families, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
* Monitor and assess progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience working with children with complex SEN needs (desirable).
* Knowledge of Team Teach or similar positive behaviour management strategies (desirable).
* A compassionate and adaptable approach to teaching.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
