As an IT Systems Administrator & Helpdesk Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring the organisation's IT systems operate seamlessly, delivering excellent support to colleagues. From maintaining high-performing networks to collaborating with external providers, you'll be instrumental in driving efficient, secure, and reliable IT operations. Key Responsibilities: Problem-solving: Provide first-class support to resolve IT hardware and software issues. Infrastructure management: Maintain and enhance networking systems, switches, printers, and Wi-Fi. Service oversight: Manage email, telephony, video conferencing, virtual environments, SAN storage, and backups. Technology updates: Ensure software and systems remain up to date and compliant with the latest standards. Collaboration: Work with external providers to maintain and improve IT services. Security focus: Oversee firewalls, antivirus systems, door entry systems, and IP CCTV. Project involvement: Contribute to local and global IT projects, implementing changes and upgrades. What We're Looking For: You should have proven experience as an IT Systems Administrator or Engineer, with skills in: Networking, switches, and Wi-Fi. Active Directory and Windows Server environments. VMware, Veeam backups, and SAN storage. IT security and integration with manufacturing machinery. Experience working with ERP systems (such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV) within a manufacturing environment would be highly advantageous.
