Job Description
We have a new and exciting opportunity to support shape our business and deliver our goals. We are recruiting for a Senior Planning Analyst to join our team to enhance the output of the multiple KPI's collated via our 3 home delivery networks, support client reporting and delivering operational and managerial information ensuring a high level of analytical performance in a timely manner.
Hours of work: 37.5hrs per week
How will you contribute?
* This is a highly analytical role but will also require a reasonable level of engagement with the client and internal departments, developing reporting structures, data capture and taking a lead in process and business development opportunities.
* Overseeing control of order lead time within agreed limits.
* Analysis of volume forecasts and calculation of resource requirements.
* Early identification of potential shortfalls in resource and a solution-driven approach to resolving such issues.
* Development of processes and systems.
* Overseeing the measurement and reporting of Planned v Actual data, effectively communicating recommendations for accuracy improvements.
* Overseeing and improving the reporting suite of key KPIs for senior management.
* Agile approach to changing seasonal requirements.
* Identification and proposal of Continuous Improvement opportunities.
* Undertaking and supporting projects as required.
* Presentation of data to the client and senior management.
* Liaising and supporting the Store / Showroom planning team as required.
* Analyse performance data, identify opportunities for improvement and support the operational and management teams in making informed decisions.
* Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operational success, shaping operational KPIs ensuring the best metrics are being driven.
* Prepare and present findings to non-technical stakeholders. Stay updated on industry trends, competitors and emerging technologies to provide recommendations.
* Ability to operate within a team of technical staff of varying skills and abilities whilst minimizing any risk due to data integrity.
* Development opportunities when deputising for the functional leads.
What will you bring?

* Detail oriented and someone who challenges the norm from the data.
* Experience providing insight and analytics that can be used to form strategic and operational change.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* The ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
* Commercial awareness.
* TMS experience - strongly preferred.
* Microsoft - Excel, Power BI, SQL or other query languages.
* Project experience.
* Logistics experience - Home Delivery experience (advantageous).
