Work Pattern: Monday - Friday 8:30am to 1:30pm
Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time only
Salary Grade: Scale 3, points 5 to 6 - £24,790 - £25,183 FTE
(salary will be pro rata to part time, term time hours)

The Governors of St Thomas’ Junior Department are looking to recruit a flexible and highly motivated Clerical Assistant. Experience in an education setting including a nursery is desirable but not essential.
As part of our school office team, you will work alongside the Headteacher, Admin Officer and Business Leader to provide our school community with an efficient, effective and productive working school office which provides a welcoming environment for everyone children, staff, parents, governors and visitors alike. We are looking for a person who is calm, courteous and friendly with a professional approach to all duties, with the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and work effectively as a team member in a very busy environment.
The suitable candidate must have:
experience of school routines, procedures and systems, including SIMS
experience with school admissions
good ICT skills, particularly in Word and Excel
experience of attendance data, statistics and reports
the ability to work well as part of a committed and caring team
You will :
have good organisational skills
have standards of literacy, numeracy and IT skills
work effectively under pressure and to set deadlines
have a caring nature and be committed to keeping children safe
have the ability to manage own workload
