Our gas team is responsible for providing gas/boiler repairs, boiler servicing, and installations in domestic and commercial properties. This role will involve carrying out administration duties for our boiler installation programme. Some of the key duties will include:
1. Booking of installation appointments with tenants and/or clients and re-arranging works where necessary.
2. Scheduling the daily timetables for our in-house team of engineers, resolving customer queries or providing advice pre and post installation.
3. Purchasing of parts and equipment, and arranging access on site for these, along with any hire plant with suppliers and subcontractors.
4. Applying for the necessary boiler installation certificates and ensuring further certification is completed upon installation.
5. Keeping our CRM system (Planet FM) and our other databases up to date.
Experience in an administration role within a gas operations team is preferred but not essential. Experience gained within a repairs environment in social housing or health care, along with repairs knowledge and scheduling, would be beneficial.
The role requires significant communication with our teams, tenants, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, so we are looking for someone with great conversational skills along with strong administrative skills.
The role would be based in Dartford.
Working hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm with an unpaid hour for lunch.
