We are looking for an Assistant Psychologist to join us at Ridgeway in our Secure Inpatient Psychology Service. The post would suit someone who is enthusiastic and values the opportunity to work collaboratively with members of a well-established multi-disciplinary team, where psychology is a core treatment offer. Main duties will include:
* Audit and evaluation of the service
* Data collection and analysis
* direct & Indirect patient care
* Assisting in formulation and consultation
* Supporting assessment and intervention
* Assisting in gathering baseline pre/post assessments
You will learn to formulate and plan interventions for an adult population to support recovery and mental well-being. You will be involved in case discussions and decisions regarding support needs. You will receive weekly supervision to support you in this role. As a service, we are keen to support and invest in the ongoing development of our Assistant Psychologists through CPD opportunities. The role would provide the opportunity to gain experience working with a diverse population that includes male and female mental health, learning disability, autism and older adults, including those who may have experienced trauma and/ or neurological difficulties.
