Howden are seeking a Client Services Specialist to successfully achieve success for our clients. This role specifically focuses on delivering exceptional client service within our Pensions team and how operationally we can underpin and support our client’s needs.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity that follows a hybrid work pattern and has the flexibility to work from any of our UK offices (Bristol or London preferred).
Role Responsibilities:
1. Complete work for scheme renewals or market reviews in line with clients’ requirements, collation, and analysis of results in appropriate format and support the Consultancy Team with report production.
2. Monitor insurers’ performance on behalf of clients and challenge insurer at higher level to resolve any issues.
3. Deal with client queries (verbal and written) in line with service level agreements and liaise with insurers where necessary to deliver on this.
4. Update all internal systems as per process ensuring we remain compliant.
5. Ownership of delivery of tasks and proactively manage your workload.
6. Manage client relationships in conjunction with the Consultancy team to support retention & growth opportunities.
7. Provide peer review support as necessary.
Role Requirements:
8. Experience of Group Pension gained from working a similar role with an Employee Benefits Consultancy or with an Insurance Provider.
9. RO1 & RO4 held, this is preferred but not essential. The business will support you in working towards this.
10. Good understanding of all Group Pension providers in the current market.
11. Good understanding of industry regulations, compliance requirements and technical specifications.
12. Good understanding of the Employee Benefits sector and its associated products.
13. Motivated with a strong desire to learn about the Employee Benefits industry and specifically the Group pension sector.
