Position Overview:
As a Control Automation Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems with a focus on PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), robotics, and control automation. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial automation systems and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, including PLCs, robotics, and other automation equipment.
2. Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and efficiency of control automation systems.
3. Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
4. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement automation solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency.
5. Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
6. Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements while performing electrical and automation tasks.
7. Provide technical support and training to maintenance and production staff on control automation systems.
8. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory levels.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as an Electrician or Automation Technician with a focus on PLCs, robotics, and control automation.
2. Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and control system issues using diagnostic tools and software.
3. Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, function block diagrams).
4. Familiarity with robotics systems, servo motors, and motion control technology.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
7. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
8. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
