This role can actually be based at any of their office locations across the region and offers a responsible role for an experienced and capable payroll professional with full end to end payroll processing expertise. You will be joining at an exciting time due to business growth and be part of a friendly and supportive team environment. Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and process multiple interval payrolls via SAGE payroll system
2. Deal with PAYE, NI and RTI submissions
3. HMRC liaison
4. Pensions/auto enrolment
5. Deal with starters/leavers, tax code changes and attachment of earnings
6. Process maternity/paternity leave calculations and statutory payments and deductions
7. Undertake checks to ensure the integrity of the payroll processing system
8. Process payments to employees, HMRC, pension providers and external parties
9. Prepare and submission of monthly and annual returns to HMRC
10. Deal with payroll enquiries
11. Maintain up to date guidance notes on payroll procedures, working closely with IT regarding any payroll system upgrades
12. Ensure audit records are maintained and provide payroll reports as required
