Job Description
As Senior Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in meeting FCA requirements and other regulations and ensuring the team and wider business does so too. You will be heavily involved in business-critical implementation of key policy and financial crime controls for the firm. Day to day, your duties will consist of:
3. Creating or developing internal policies and procedures
4. Carrying out necessary research into compliance topics that will potentially impact or have implications on the firm
5. Overseeing the process of testing, designing and operating effectiveness of internal controls
6. Supporting with the team's response to risk incidents and breaches by carrying out internal reviews
7. Carrying out monitoring quality control audit checks on other departments
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this Senior Compliance Officer role, you must have:
8. Compliance-related qualifications
9. Well versed in regulations particularly, FCA, COBS, GDPR and Consumer Duty
10. High level of existing regulatory knowledge within Financial Services.
11. Compliance experience in a financial services organisation
12. Experience in quality control or internal audit is necessary
13. Excellent attention to detail
