Ryecroft School in Walsall is part of Options Autism, and we're looking for a SENCo to join our new team. This role offers a rewarding education career with a significant impact on pupils' lives.
As a SENCo, you'll collaborate with the Headteacher and therapy team to develop the SEND policy, providing guidance to colleagues and working with staff, parents, and agencies to ensure pupils receive suitable support and high-quality teaching.
You'll advise on graduated approaches to SEN support and differentiated teaching methods, supporting pupils with complex communication needs, autism, and associated learning and emotional needs.
We're seeking an outstanding, innovative, and determined SENCo to lead the strategic development of Special Education Needs provision.
This involves having demonstrable experience in improving provision quality in a middle or senior leadership role, with a proven record of impact regarding SEN and success in achieving progress for disadvantaged students.
The successful candidate will be integral to the Leadership Team, providing strategic direction for the school, particularly in relation to Quality of Education.
The salary range for this position is £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience, considering the job title, location, and industry standards.
