Reporting to the Director of Strategy & Analysis, the role is key to ensuring that relevant, timely and accurate data and insight is provided to leadership to support strategy development, operational execution, pricing optimisation and supporting Business Unit strategic objectives. This will be a holistic view of the environment our customers, and potential customers, are operating within and the dynamics influencing their business models. Responsibilities - Distillation/Synthesis of multiple information sources to build a picture of the markets that LNRS operates in, and ones that we could enter. - Actively cultivate additional market insight & competitive intelligence to aid competitive differentiation & drive growth. - Ownership and mapping our pricing intelligence data, and work with key stakeholders to influence improvements from data capture to key pricing improvements. - Work with the various strategy heads, Identity, Fraud, Customer Data Management and Credit Risk, to develop and enhance existing commercial strategy, including pricing and profitability. - Build pricing proposals on new products, and revisit prices for existing products, based on a deep understanding of the value they generate to customers, associated impact on company financials, competition, and market dynamics. - Creating, and working with, disparate data sets that can be used to underpin continuous improvement activity across our business. - Stay abreast of market commercial and competitor activity, through a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods from a variety of sources to gain insight into pricing strategies and market trends. - Tracking customer engagement to develop effective pricing strategies for products and offerings. Requirements - Business acumen and commercial skills are essential, as well as a strong desire to understand the sales process, our products, and our customers business models. - Strong numerical and problem-solving skills to ensure success where data is limited. - Proven experience in recommending, gaining approval, and implementing changes to pricing strategy. - Knowledge of pricing methodologies, techniques, and best practices. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders from across the business. - Highly results / output orientated. - A continuous learner who welcomes constructive feedback and is energized by building new skills and taking on new challenges. - Technical skills that would be advantageous include PowerBI, SQL and advanced Excel.
