The 24/7 Community Mental Health Neighbourhood Centre in the West of the City of York is being developed as part of a longstanding ambition by the Mental Health partnership, in response to wider stakeholder events that identified that a person centred, transformative approach was needed to improve the outcomes of people with mental health needs in the city of York. We are looking for exceptional individuals to be involved in this exciting and dynamic process to further develop the Hubs in York. The successful individuals will be required to work within a multi-agency hub team and inform the development and integration of services within the Hub. The Hub team will consist of members of clinical staff, alongside a range of non-clinical staff including peer support workers and carers, community connectors and volunteers.
You will provide clinical advice, consultation, and support to other care providers within primary, secondary, voluntary and statutory services as required. 18 months post qualifying experience including sign off of appropriate preceptorship or competency framework is essential. Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. If necessary, adjustments can be considered in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
Visits to the team are welcome! Additional contact details: David Kerr, Mental Health Transformation programme Lead (NYY). Please refer to the attached job description and person specification for further detailed information to ensure that you meet the role criteria before applying.
