As a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist, you will play a vital role in our microbiology laboratory, contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases. What will your responsibilities be : In this role, the Biomedical Scientist will be responsible for performing a range of microbiological tests and analyses to support the diagnosis and management of infectious diseases. Duties include processing and analysing patient samples, maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation of results. The scientist will also participate in quality control and assurance activities, adhere to health and safety protocols, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality laboratory services.
