You will be joining our friendly, flexible and welcoming paediatric department that encompasses 3 general x-ray rooms, DEXA, EOS scanner, CT and Spect CT scanners, theatre and mobile imaging. The x-ray department supports a range of specialities including neurosurgery, oncology, abdominal, vascular, forensic and musculo-skeletal work.
Main duties of the job
To provide a high standard of radiographic imaging whilst ensuring that patients receive high quality care, working within the Trust values, using professional judgment skills.

Job Title: Radiographer

Pay Rates: £21.80 per hour
Shift Patterns: 37.5 hours Mon-Fri 9-5
What you can add:
* To work as part of a team, using age-appropriate verbal and non-verbal communication tools to communicate effectively with children and their family/carers and others involved with the child's care in order to achieve a successful imaging examination.
* To assess the patient's clinical need and level of co-operation to perform radiographic procedures to ensure the highest possible diagnostic image is produced at first attempt to minimise radiation risk to the patient.
What you'll need:
* HCPC Registration
* University Degree in Therapeutic Radiography or equivalent
* Full time 9-5 (3 days minimum)
