The Role:
We are recruiting for a Specialist Warehouse Colleague working throughout the DC departments on fixed noons, Monday to Friday 14:30-23:00. As a Specialist Warehouse Colleague, you will undertake all aspects of warehouse duties, ensuring an effective, speedy, and accurate delivery of the warehouse operation in accordance with company requirements. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, the ability to follow verbal and written instructions, be self-motivated, able to work to deadlines, and be a team player. Numeracy and literacy skills, good manual handling skills, and experience with automated systems are also required.
Key roles and responsibilities:
* Co-ordinate staff moving to support workload.
* Ensure process adherence through coaching to colleagues & highlight & feed gaps to TL.
* Coach and support colleagues.
* Monitor Selektron (workflow monitor).
* Support SOP's / Audit fails by fixing, identify process improvement opportunities.
* Support on stock adjustments.
* Applying appropriate technical knowledge and skill to contribute to an efficient warehouse operation.
* Comply with current Health & Safety legislation and company policies and procedures, ensuring a safe workplace and working within defined safety areas.
* Work in a professional manner, ensuring the Team Leader is advised of any problems.
* Carry out ad hoc tasks as occasionally required by Team Leader/Warehouse Line Manager.
* Support the Shift Manager in the absence of the Team Leader.
