About the role
As a Teaching Assistant at our school, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils across both their academic and social development. Working closely with class teachers, the SENDCO, and the Head of Senior School, you will assist individuals and small groups in the classroom and in intervention sessions. You will contribute to the implementation and monitoring of Individual Education Plans, helping pupils to reach their full potential. From guiding learning in ICT and PSHE to supporting classroom organisation and pupil record-keeping, your presence will be an essential part of daily school life. You’ll also be involved in school events, parent communication, and contributing to a warm, supportive learning environment.
This is a permanent, part-time 0.5FTE position immediately available.
Who we are looking for:
You are a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will have experience working with young people and hold a minimum NVQ Level 2 in Supporting Learning in Schools. You’re well-organised, creative, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Your flexible and proactive attitude helps you thrive in a busy school environment. Most importantly, you are passionate about helping children succeed and ready to make a positive difference in their lives every single day.
