Job Description
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the key responsibilities of the role include:
1. Responsibility for all issues relating to Health & Safety and the Environment during shift.
2. Support team leaders and colleagues through excellent communication and active leadership.
3. Ensure co-ordination and handover management between shifts.
4. Translate, analyse and deliver customer needs through effective operations.
5. Ensure resource availability and skilled trained resource.
6. Deliver consistent service levels seeking to exceed customer expectations.
7. Effective leadership, management and communication with all warehouse departments.
8. Responsible for ensuring high levels of excellence in culture and behaviours.
9. Display a 'can do' attitude to enhance motivation of team.
10. Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
11. Engage with and treat employees with respect and promote diversity.
12. Recognise and proactively manage continuous improvement initiatives.
13. Ensure all internal / external KPI's are achieved and regularly reviewed.
14. Ensure site standards are maintained at all times.
15. Proactive involvement in site CI.

1. Operational Experience.

7. Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.

11. Use of Microsoft Packages including Excel and Word.
12. Work within a team and able to interact at all levels.
13. Experience of Disciplinary Investigations.
Desirable
1. Strong experience in a managerial role.
