Shift pattern: 3 on 3 off (Days & Nights / 12 hour shifts)

So what do our engineers actually do?
This is an opportunity not to be missed. You’ll get the chance to work at Arla’s state of the art, highly automated cheese processing and packing site. As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will support the site as critical support on breakdowns as well as drive planned preventative maintenance activities across automated processing and packaging equipment. You’ll get involved in CI and improvement projects in line with our maintenance excellence programme, as well as capex/non modifications.
This will be working on equipment including: Slicers, graters, labellers, cappers, packers, weighers, flow wrappers, shrink wrappers, trolley packers, palletisers, de-palletisers, conveyor lines (chain, spiral), robots (Kuka), vision systems, Spectrum TX rejection systems and more.
What you’ll need in order to be successful in the role:
* Ambition & drive
* Ideally apprentice trained/time served or proven experience with fast-paced manufacturing environment
* Strong experience as a multiskilled engineer (shift engineer/maintenance engineer/engineering technician and the likes)
* Experience in mechanical and electrical engineering within Manufacturing, Production and Process environments
* Ideally you will have experience with fast-moving machinery, pumps, valves, inverter drives, sensors, relays, PLC’s (Siemens), Site Services (steam generation plant, chilled water systems, compressors, processes), CIP systems (chemical cleaning plant)
* Computer literate – SAP, Microsoft Office, SCADA, Trend systems, HMI’S
