We are looking for a Laboratory & Weighbridge Assistant to join the Frontier team, based at Newmachar, on a permanent full-time basis.
You will be responsible for the inspection and evaluation of crops for Frontier Agriculture and third parties as well as processing vehicle bookings both in and out of the site whilst upholding Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards. Candidates must be able to work to deadlines in a high-pressure environment.

About You
10. Full driving license
11. Experience of working in a Laboratory or similar working environment (desirable)
12. Good IT skills including Microsoft Word / Excel
13. A flexible approach to working hours during peak season
14. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally
15. Able to work on own initiative, managing your own workload and time, whilst developing effective and supportive relationships with colleagues and customers
Your Role
As a Laboratory & Weighbridge Assistant your role will involve:
16. Evaluation of seed and grain for both Frontier and third-party customers
17. Processing vehicles in / out of store
18. Testing and grading commodities
19. Ensuring procedures are followed for grain testing
20. Logging all samples onto the system and input data
21. Checking equipment is working accurately
22. Ensuring equipment records are kept up to date
23. Ensuring all records are accurate and any anomalies are highlighted to the Laboratory Manager
24. Completing the quality assurance plan with the Laboratory Manager
25. Assisting the Site Manager with compliance administration
