Salary: Competitive What you’ll be doing: · Undertaking HAZID/HAZAN as required throughout thesafety lifecycle · Contributing to the design of submarines in conceptstages, and design modifications of mature and operationalsubmarines to ensure safety from internalhazards · Acting asa subject matter expert for internal hazard safety at variousdesign review meetings and as a design peerreviewer · Developingsafety case reports for multiple safety cases · Undertaking risk assessments and ALARPassessments · Producingand peer reviewing technical papers relating to safetyanalysis · Liaisingwith a network of engineering stakeholders on safetymaters · Developing, producing, and maintaining internalhazard safety processes and risk managementstrategies Your skills andexperiences: Essential: · SafetyEngineering knowledge or experience gained from any of thefollowing areas: systems safety, process safety, technical safety,product safety, nuclear safety or safety case · Degreequalified in a relevant STEM discipline Desirable: · Experiencein naval maritime safety case development ormaintenance · Experiencewith a range of quantitative and qualitative risk assessmenttechniques · SafetyEngineering experience in a high hazardindustry Benefits: You’ll receive benefits including a competitivepension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Companycontributed Share Incentive Plan.
