The division includes Breast, Oncology, Medical Imaging, Pathology, Pharmacy and Radiation Services across our Colchester and Ipswich Hospitals and our Diagnostic Centres. You will be required to work cross site at Colchester and Ipswich Hospital. As the Deputy Governance and Quality Manager you will be an integral part of the Division's Governance Team assisting the Governance Lead in the co-ordination, implementation and delivery of the Trust Governance framework within the Division. In this role, you will support governance at both Divisional and Clinical Delivery Group level, facilitating best practice in the analysis and management of incidents and complaints, supporting learning and to manage risk. You will work closely with the Division and members of the Trust's Patient Safety & Quality, Clinical Outcomes, Patient Experience and Corporate teams. Interviews will be week commencing 24th March 2025. Main duties of the job Responsible for the monitoring of incidents reported through the division, continual quality review of all clinical and non-clinical incidents to assess whether the quality of reporting is of a sufficient standard, to identify and implement bespoke training required for clinical/non clinical areas. Ensure trends and themes are identified and concerns raised and escalated to the Divisional Governance Lead. Effective management of and preparation for regulatory inspections. JACIE to facilitate and maintain the delivery of an effective quality assurance management programme. Effective Risk Management, assisting the Governance Lead in regular review, coordination and maintenance of risk. High quality and timely responses to patient feedback and complaints, ensuring the processes are in place across the division (including community services and commercial providers). Working to embed robust governance and quality assurance mechanisms within each Clinical Delivery Group (CDG).
