Travel Operations Executive
Base Salary: £25,000 + Benefits
Location: Hybrid - Birmingham
Our client is a well-renowned tour operator who specializes in adventure and activity-based holidays.
Due to continued growth, they are now recruiting for an Operations Executive who can contribute to the smooth running of the Operations department with specific responsibility for assigned tours; providing an exemplary pre and post-sale service to their customers and maintaining professional working relationships with their key suppliers.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage all services and special requests relating to bookings.
2. Timely completion of client flight requests.
3. Provide high quality and timely communication, manifests, and other documentation to all agents and suppliers.
4. Arrange ticketing and boarding passes for all customers.
5. Dispatch all travel documentation to customers on time.
6. Execute all communication in a clear and timely manner ensuring all administrative protocols are observed.
7. Close liaison with suppliers on quality control issues.
8. Input data into the reservation system platform to keep each existing customer record updated and to enter new records when appropriate.
9. Adopt company policies to resolve customer service issues, post and pre-sale.
10. Respond to customers' enquiries whether by telephone or email.
Experience Required:
1. Previous operations or support experience within the travel industry is essential.
2. Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
3. High level of professionalism.
4. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
5. Attention to detail.
