What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a highly professional and efficient Class Teacher
You will need to demonstrate that you:
• Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have GCSE Grade C or above in mathematics or English or equivalent qualification
• Are able to teach creatively, delivering personalized and bespoke learning opportunities
• Are student centred, and are able to foster great relationships with students, their families and the wider community
• Have a solid understanding of Trauma Informed and Nurture approaches
• Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of students
• Have working knowledge of SEND Code of Practice 0-25 years
• Have experience of teaching children or young people with SEND including Autism in a mainstream, resource base or special school setting
• Have the ability to teach all subjects
• Are calm, confident and positive
• Are committed to supporting the aims of the academy
• Are a reflective practitioner
• Are keen to develop your own practice and be led by research to develop teaching and learning
