We are looking for someone to provide a high level of interaction to be ready to welcome and assist at all times, friendliness and to have a top-line knowledge of the proposition of the area. Information: Position: Front of House Concierge Team Leader Location: London (WC2N) Pay Rate: £21.73 per hour Hours: Average 36 hours per week (overtime available) Shifts: Days - 4 on 4 off - 09:30 to 18:00 - 8 hour shifts (flexibility required for events) Job Requirements: SIA licence desirable Experience in Supervisor, Team Leader or Management for high end corporate front of house, hotel background, hospitality, or concierge services. Excellent people management skills with a proven track record in this area. Diplomatic, tactful, flexible, professional attitude and adapt at working under pressure Able to multitask, prioritise effectively and make decisions Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as customer service. Must be flexible and have the flexibility to work events due to operational needs. To always take pride in your appearance, ensuring immaculate presentation. Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site. Be confident you can undertake 100% of all specific duties. Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested. Job Responsibilities: Be a main point of contact for the customers stakeholders for daily matters and an escalation into the senior team for any additional matters. Front of House staff needed to be the part of the team that is the face of the companies we represent. To ensure guests and visitors are given an excellent standard of greeting and care whilst in the building. To ensure that all business needs are met, and that the company's reputation is enhanced through the provision of exemplary reception, bookings, and concierge services. To be articulate and well informed and to ensure that customers and visitors' needs pre-empted, met, and exceeded. The expectation is that any necessary security protocols are absolutely adhered to, however they are carried out with a significantly greater degree of humane service. Job Duties: To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently and ensure that an exceptional high standard of customer service is always provided, personally taking responsibility for their requests to ensure that they are completed, if not exceeding, their expectations. Inspire, engage and lead Front of House Team to achieve the vision, mission and goals set by our customers and CIS. Take ownership for the FoH Concierges great atmosphere and teamwork, delivering a best in class reception service to all. To be the main point of contact within the building to all visitors and colleagues. To be responsible for the efficient running of the entrance with the professionalism and knowledge required for each location. To communicate regularly with any new and important issues that may arise. Ensuring presentation and uniforms of all staff are maintained in accordance with Company Handbook. To embrace our vision by working "outside the box" and ensuring that the entrance areas are kept clean and orderly and ensuring an all-round 5 service. To always ensure great teamwork both within and outside the department, always demonstrating a "can do" approach and solutions. Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations. To be briefed on any events that are taking place, any special guests expected and more. To always promote a positive image of our customer and CIS and ensure they are implemented by the team. Ensure that all FoH Concierge teams' welfare and performance issues are pro-actively monitored and managed, conducting formal, fact-finding, welfare, return to work and sickness review meetings etc. Have an excellent understanding of the layouts of the sites, residences and any specific requirements or arrangements of the building. Responsible for managing day to day operations and report issues to the Front of House Contract Manager. To assist in any other reasonable duties as required. Guest Interaction: Greet with a polite good morning/afternoon/evening and smile. Politely enquire as to the nature of the guest's visit and direct accordingly. If the guest doesn't qualify for entry, the utmost courtesy and respect to still be shown whilst directing them to alternative options for visiting the Gallery. Respond to any initial questions a guest may have. Be relaxed, friendly and calm with children who will be attending events. Be a reassuring but relaxed presence. Be confident when greeting visitors with alternative access requirements. To ensure that the entrance areas are kept clean and orderly.
