Job Description What you'll do This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and improve skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, stoma care, and so much more We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs. Every day will be different. And you’ll never know what challenges you’re about to face next. One thing you can be sure of is that you’ll be making your clients’ days brighter, whilst developing your skills and knowledge. The client is a young gentleman who has unfortunately had a recent spinal injury, you will be offering mental and emotional support, encouragement and enablement. Assisting him with trips around the community and appointments, whilst also maintaining his personal care, bowel and bladder management. He is very family-orientated as he has a loving and supportive family including a pet dog, a big fan of music and gaming in particular so sharing similar interests would be a big plus
