Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and oversee the financial, physical, and digital infrastructure to ensure it meets the needs of both staff and participants.
* Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and senior stakeholders to deliver on the organisation's strategic objectives.
* Manage and develop high-performing teams within Finance and operational departments.
* Provide regular financial analysis to support decision-making by the Board and SLT.
* Lead on risk management, including working with auditors and managing financial and operational risk.
* Oversee treasury management, budgeting, cash flow management, and long-term forecasting.
* Support the organisation's digital and financial transformation strategy and ensure the effective delivery of IT and premises resources.
* Take the lead in ensuring the organisation's impact on individuals is accurately measured and used to improve offerings.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in financial management, ideally within the education or skills sector.
* Experience working at a senior level, engaging with boards and external stakeholders.
* Expertise in financial and data management systems, GDPR compliance, and managing organisational services.
* A leader who can drive high performance, with a strong track record in team management and development.
* Strong commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
* A proactive approach, with the ability to resolve operational challenges and drive continuous improvement.
* Knowledge of the funding, regulatory, and legislative environment in the sector.
* Experience in leading or supporting digital and financial transformation initiatives.
