External Training Program Lead - 6 Months - up to £650 per day
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Learning and Development Specialist to drive key initiatives and shape the future of our client's learning and development (L&D) function. What You’ll Do
As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering tangible results across a range of focus areas, including:
1. Documenting and Optimising Processes
* Conduct interviews with current staff to document all existing L&D processes.
* Create detailed process maps, identify inefficiencies, and propose streamlined workflows.
* Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure clarity and continuity.
2. Developing an Interim Education Strategy
* Design a 6-12 month interim education strategy that aligns with organisational goals.
* Review the current course catalogue and learning platforms to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
* Gather feedback from stakeholders and propose innovative solutions that address emerging needs.
3. Modernising L&D Delivery
* Transition L&D operations from traditional methods to a blended, modern learning experience.
* Research and recommend best practices in eLearning, online delivery, and potential AI-driven solutions.
* Assess current digital platforms and present recommendations for enhancements, including a transition plan for new technology adoption.
4. Overseeing Daily L&D Operations
* Ensure seamless day-to-day operations, including managing training schedules, updating materials, and supporting team resources.
* Act as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration and alignment.
* Monitor ongoing programs and implement solutions to address any operational challenges.
