About the RoleThe Data Centre Manager will oversee the critical facility operations of the customer's data centres, ensuring the highest levels of reliability, efficiency, and safety. This role is customer and team-facing, responsible for leading operational delivery within a 24/7, 365-day facility. We seek an experienced senior shift engineer or team leader ready to take the next step into data centre management. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership, management, and professional development for the operational team, ensuring all commitments are met and exceeded. Ensure the continuous and uninterrupted operation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems within the data centre. Take ownership of MEP operations, ensuring all infrastructure is maintained per industry best practices and manufacturer recommendations. Support Operation teams and external stakeholders by delivering high-quality technical services and operational solutions. Maintain site-wide safety and compliance standards for all personnel, equipment, and infrastructure. Collaborate with Construction & Project teams to ensure the data centre meets all statutory and mandatory requirements. Manage Change, Incident Management, and Problem Resolution processes, ensuring alignment with global operational standards. Drive innovation and continuous improvement within facility operations. Skills & Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in data centre operations. Strong technical expertise in maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment within a mission-critical environment. Comprehensive understanding of data centre environments, including safety and operational restrictions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and meet deadlines.Preferred Qualifications 2 years of managerial experience in a data centre or critical infrastructure environment.
