Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Housekeeping Manager
Location: St Andrews, Fife
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Our absolute focus is delivering a personalised, luxury experience to all guests, building relationships and anticipating their every need. As Housekeeping Operations Manager you will assist the Executive Housekeeper with the day-to-day running of the Housekeeping department.
A little bit about what you will be doing:
* Provide a friendly and efficient service through effective recruitment, induction, training and development policies as measured by low turnover, high guest satisfaction
* Ensure everything is in line with Standard Operating Procedures
* Assist with all staff training, to ensure all staff deliver a superior cleaning service in rooms and all public areas to standards lay down by Executive Housekeeper
* To check rooms and public areas daily, complete any cleaning duties as necessary
* Coordinate all staff training, keep records up to date and make sure staff attend all relevant training courses
* All equipment used by associates is checked and cleaned regularly
Qualifications
* Service focused personality is essential and previous leadership experience required
* Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
* Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance
