Summary:
eXmoor helps clients with their manufacturing of cell and gene therapies (CGT) and biopharmaceuticals. We provide; (1) translation consultancy to close the gap between R&D and clinical manufacture, (2) process development services from our wet labs in Bristol (3) capital project design through to licensing and (4) GMP manufacturing for early phase clinical trials.
We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to support inventory and storage management activities and warehouse operations at the Cell & Gene Therapy Centre, Bristol. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe storage and effective management of critical materials, consumables and equipment for Process Development (PD) and clinical manufacturing of ATMPs (Advanced Therapies Medicinal Products).

Job Description: Job Purpose:
The Warehouse Operative will support the Warehouse Team with storage and inventory management activities on behalf of the Process Development and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Operations teams at eXmoor. Operatives are responsible for the safe management of materials and equipment in compliance with GMP and other regulatory guidelines as required.
Main areas of responsibility/key duties:
* You will receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and consumables to ensure accuracy and quality according to specifications.
* You will coordinate with Procurement, Quality and Production teams to ensure timely material availability.
* You will ensure accurate stock control, inventory tracking, and material movements using the Warehouse Management System.
* You will assist in conducting regular inventory audits to reconcile physical counts with system records.
* You will pick, assemble and arrange distribution of approved materials from the warehouse inventory for the Process Development, Production and AS teams, ensuring timely delivery to meet operational needs.
* You will manage logistics providers, ensuring materials are stored and transported correctly.
* You will ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in all warehouse activities by escalating any discrepancies.
* You will maintain documentation records in line with data integrity (ALCOA+) principles.
* You will supervise and coordinate the Warehouse Team, ensuring efficient, safe and compliant handling of materials and consumables.
* You will comply with PD and GMP documentation including risk assessments, SOPs, COSHH forms, lab notebooks and records.
* You will comply with safety documentation to ensure a safe working environment as well as the safe delivery, storage and disposal of hazardous materials.
* You will fully participate in all training sessions as required.
Personal Specification
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* Familiarity with inventory management systems.
* Demonstrable experience working within a demanding warehouse environment
* Previous experience using a forklift truck within a warehouse environment
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
* Experience with the manipulation of EURO pallets up to 10 metres high.
* Proven experience in a GMP compliant warehouse or supply chain environment, preferably within a biopharmaceuticals, cell & gene therapy, or ATMP manufacturing setting.
* In depth knowledge and clear understanding of EU GMP and logistics.

* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and inventory.
* Proficiency in Office365 (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* This position will require lifting and moving materials up to 20kg.
* The Warehouse Operative will be required to work in controlled environments with specific temperature requirements.
