We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual to join the Aircraft Documentation Team within Engineering Quality and Technical department. You will be responsible for carrying out various administrative tasks/clerical activities accurately to ensure these are correctly translated into the EWS Engineering System for Airworthiness and Ongoing Compliance of the British Airways fleet.
You will be working with internal, external and regulatory stakeholders and will be a principal participant in ensuring that the manuals and records of British Airways aircraft remain up-to-date and compliant with applicable regulations. Part of the role will be the Administration of Maintenance Records archive activities including physical storage and movement of records in the archive areas.
As well as the day-to-day responsibilities, we would expect you to support or own project work as required. These projects will be varied, including new aircraft entry into service / existing fleet retirements, or data manipulation including industry standard formats.

What you’ll do:
* Administrative and clerical duties involved in a wide range of activities, including but not limited to ;-
* The accurate translation of Engineering Airworthiness data for the Aircraft components such as Engines and Landing gears from the overhaulers and suppliers information into the Engineering airworthiness system, this includes clearing maintenance tasks carried out during the overhaul and checking compiling the historical “back to birth” records and reports.
* The support of the technical log data entry off-site
* The administration of maintenance record archive activities including the physical storage and movement of records in the archive areas.
* Clearing maintenance tasks carried out
* Auditing and validation of data set up
* Processing of other component changes requested via W2 notifications including AER’s
* Authoring of procedures
* Developing process improvements
* Raising purchase requests
* Carry out records disposal activities such as records investigation and preparation
* Providing on the job training and guidance to other colleagues
* Supporting investigations into ground occurrence reports
* Report production and presentation
* Proactive liaison with the suppliers and internal teams to resolve documentation issues.

* Qualifications to Level 2 (or educational experience
