Job Title: Lead Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £45,000
Location: Hampstead Heath
Rota: Days Monday to Friday
Lead Engineer with an Electrically Biased Multi Skilled background for a prestigious Company based in Hampstead. The candidate will be highly motivated, self-sufficient, highly skilled and possess confidence, with an ambitious outlook and willingness to succeed. Will be inducted into a highly skilled and experienced team of professional facilities management personnel, including directly with the client’s company Managing Director.

Duties:
1. To carry out PPM in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the Plant and associated systems.
2. Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.
3. PPM and reactive works as well as additional project works.
4. All Electrical work on the properties including lighting, wiring, testing, alarm systems, BMS, Comms rooms, UPS, and back-up generators and lighting systems.
5. Being on a call out rota to cover out of hours breakdown emergencies.
6. Keeping on top of maintenance workload in line with the companies KPI’s.
7. Oversee specialist contractors including site induction where needed.
8. Liaising with the clients on each side in a polite and professional manner.
9. To respond in a prompt and effective manner to all Electrically & Mechanically related reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests.
10. Carry out technical surveys of the above services and systems, reporting findings to the Supervisor.
11. Be an active participant in reviewing existing and implementing new techniques to enhance the service to our clients.
12. Electrical & Mechanical fault diagnosis associated with the PPM or Reactive maintenance of the site.
13. Carry out minor installation work to the above services and systems.
14. Repair and maintenance of lighting and distribution systems.
Requirements:
15. City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognized equivalent.
16. 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (I.E.E) Registration or recognized equivalent.
17. City & Guilds Part 3 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognized equivalent.
18. City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
19. C&G Parts 1 & 2 Mechanical qualification
20. ACOP L8 training for water systems maintenance
21. Prior experience of Building Management Systems.
22. Supervisory experience for future development.
23. Proactive approach.
24. Experienced in electrical installation work, plus electrical testing and inspection.
