Information Security Consultancy Manager

Reporting to the Head of Cyber Security, the Information Security Consultancy Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the information security consultancy service within Allianz. This role entails overseeing the embedding of security within business change projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, managing stakeholder relationships, and providing strategic direction and leadership to a team of information security consultants.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the Information Security Consultancy Team, providing guidance, mentorship and direction to ensure high-quality service delivery.
2. Develop and maintain the strategic direction for the consultancy services in alignment with the organisation's overall cyber security strategy.
3. Manage and oversee the execution of security consultancy within business change projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
4. Act as a subject matter expert in information security, providing consultancy to internal and external stakeholders.
5. Foster strong stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively with various business units to understand their specific security needs.
6. Ensure that security consultancy services are in compliance with Allianz standards, regulations and best practices.
7. Drive the development and improvement of consultancy methodologies, tools and processes.
8. Prepare and manage the team's budget, forecasting resource needs and justifying investments.
9. Provide regular reports to the Head of Cyber Security and other stakeholders on consultancy activities, project status and team performance.
10. Stay abreast of the latest cyber security trends, threats and technologies to continually enhance the consultancy services offered.
11. Recruit, train and retain skilled information security professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Requirements
1. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM or equivalent are highly desirable.
2. Substantial experience in information security, with proven experience in a leadership role.
3. Strong understanding of cyber security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
4. Excellent project management skills and experience supporting complex projects.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
6. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a dynamic and challenging environment.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing issues and opportunities.
