The Role:
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will:
1. Administer client bank accounts for our pension administration clients.
2. Provide a professional service, ensuring accurate and efficient operations.
3. Raise cheques and electronic payments for pension schemes daily.
4. Check and return all signatures to administrators within set deadlines.
5. Maintain cashbooks for pension schemes using CashFac, SAGE, and Aviary accounting systems.
Your Profile:
Essential Criteria:
1. Good level of education with a minimum Grade B in GCSE Maths.
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
3. Previous office-based experience in finance/accounting roles is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
4. Background in purchase ledger, banking clerk, or cashier roles is welcome.
5. Experience handling payment requisitions or knowledge of accounting/cashiering packages is highly desirable.
6. Strong communication skills.
7. Well-organised with attention to detail.
