Job Title: Registered Manager

Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a residential children's home. The Registered Manager will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, promoting a positive culture, and providing strong leadership to the care team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of the residential children's home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained.
* Lead, inspire, and manage a dedicated team of staff, providing supervision, guidance, and support.
* Develop and implement individual care & behaviour plans and risk assessments for each child, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
* Maintain effective communication with children, families, external agencies, and professionals involved in their care.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and safeguarding procedures.
* Manage budgets, resources, and administrative tasks efficiently.
* Promote a positive and inclusive environment that values diversity and respects the rights of children and young people.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of service delivery, implementing improvements as necessary.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a residential children's home setting.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification) or working towards.
* Sound knowledge of Ofsted legislation, regulations, and best practices in childcare.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and resolve complex issues effectively.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
