The Quality Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that company products and services meet or exceed customer expectations. You will oversee quality control procedures, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and report on metrics such as defect rates, customer complaints, and product returns.
You will ensure that compliance to site standards/set procedures are adhered to and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the technical functions. Supporting the quality manager in all aspects of the job, you will maintain the high level of customer service we provide and be a role model for best practices at all times, providing support to management where appropriate.
An understanding of product safety and health and safety requirements is essential.
Shifts: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
Salary: up to £30,000 DOE
What will you be doing?
* Audit internal processes and procedures to maintain local standards: MHRA, BRCGS, ISO9001 and be involved in external site audits.
* Manage, control, and monitor Quality incidents reporting and instigate action where needed, including Root cause analysis and ensuring CAPA closeouts.
* Meet customer needs in all areas of quality-related requests and issues.
* Provide day-to-day review of the Quality Systems and support to the Production Department.
* Analyse and be involved in the continual improvement of Great Bear Processes.
* Train and brief new procedures/processes to relevant personnel.
* Monitor and assist the training team with the Nvolve platform.
* Ensure all paperwork and systems are completed and accurate in accordance with company procedures.
* Assist in H&S processes and reviews.
* Undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time that reasonably fall within the scope and grade of the post.

* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
* Ability to identify and suggest improvements to benefit both GBD and our customers.
* PC Literate in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Drive and desire to progress.
* Flexible in approach to work and shift patterns.
* Clear understanding of customer requirements, ensuring all queries are dealt with efficiently and effectively.
* Able to work as part of a team and demonstrate a professional attitude towards all colleagues.
* Organised and focused approach to all administrative duties.
