Cyber Security Business Partner role in Manchester with a hybrid working model.

Build relationships with Service Provider Delivery and Security Teams to define technical engagement scope.
Key responsibilities:
* Build relationships with Service Provider Delivery and Security Teams (SPs) and assist in defining the scope of the technical engagement with SPs.
* Work with the Security Operations Centre (SOC) to collate data requirements to be passed to the SPs.
* Liaise with SP Delivery and Security Teams to extract relevant security data for user cases seen/predicted/hunted in the SOC.
* Work with DCC programme/project teams and Security Assurance to support the delivery of SP requirements.
* Review and act upon threat intelligence feeds applicable to DCC environment in accordance with established operating procedures.
* Assist in raising change requests where necessary, in order to make the data available to the SOC.
* Identify gaps in current designs or delivery and assist in identifying where SP does not have a capability.
* Indicate areas of initial, prioritized action and assist in defining the process requirements to support this model.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar role.
* Excellent threat hunting capabilities including participating in hunt missions using threat intelligence, analysis of anomalous log data and anomalous sessions to detect and eradicate threat actors.
* Experience performing deep dive analysis by correlating data from various sources and applying advanced statistical analysis techniques to identify outliers.
* Experience developing Threat Hunting dashboards and reports to identify potential threats, suspicious and anomalous activity and malware.
* Excellent reporting experience, able to produce comprehensive, accurate reports and presentations for technical and executive audiences.
* Experience of incident response and analysis, forensics and knowledge of security best practice, especially on design and implementation of controls.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills needed to create professional and cooperative relationships between the DCC and SPs.
* Experience effectively communicating escalations with executive stakeholders and legal counsel, both technically and strategically.
