Duration: 12 months FTC The opportunity: To act as part of an office-based support to the Customer Account Management team with the specific role of coordinating the day-to-day requests of Customer accounts allocated to him/her and managing the commercial agreements between WRK and these Customers on a day-to-day basis. The role is normally applicable to UK & Irish Customers. How you will impact WestRock: - PROCESSING ORDERS & INSTRUCTIONS received from Customers including assessing the conformity of these instructions with commercial agreements between the Customer and WRK, entering them into the WRK manufacturing process system and monitoring them through throughout the supply life-cycle. - INTERNAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT of Customer/Key Accounter requests related to cartons, such as - new artwork, carton design or pricing. - MANAGING CUSTOMER REQUESTS working closely with the Planning and Manufacturing operational staff, to maximise the commercial efficiency with which WRK can satisfy these requests. - SUPPORTING the general relationship between the Customer and WRK - working with the Key Account Managers to ensure a common high level of professionalism and perceived commitment to the customer. - ESTABLISHING A RAPPORT and direct lines of communication with Customers purchasing and logistics personnel to enhance the B2B working relationship. This includes carrying out periodic visits to Customer sites. - Playing a key part in operational FORECASTING of board requirements to allow long-lead time board ordering and minimization of board stocks and machine utilisation. - OPERATING AS AN INTEGRAL PART OF A SELF-SUPPORTING INTERNAL SALES TEAM, providing a standardized approach and enable a seamless service to customer coverage to for absences of team members.
