A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional individual to be appointed as a Support and Delivery Centre Administrator
This post will be fixed term for 12 months to provide maternity cover.
The post holder will require excellent communication skills, have a positive and flexible approach to the needs of the Service, be motivated, ready for the next challenge and enjoy working as part of a very busy team.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will have the following roles and responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior staff within Health and Care Research Wales
* Act as the first point of contact, deal with queries, correspondence, emails and telephone calls from stakeholders across the Health and Care Research Wales infrastructure and beyond including other NHS and Social Care staff and members of the public in a professional manner, passing on queries to the relevant team member in a timely way
* Undertake a range of administrative duties, including secretariate services, diary management, photocopying, printing and managing incoming and outgoing post and parcels
* Work with other Support and Delivery Centre Administrators to provide an effective service across the organisation, dealing with visitors and being flexible to cover other Administrators’ general duties as co-ordinated by the Services Manager
* Contribute as appropriate to other duties by mutual agreement with line manager.
Contract type: Fixed term / Secondment - 12 months
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: Band 4 - £26,928 - £29,551 per annum
