Our client based in Hornby is a family-owned metal recycling facility with two South Island branches. This role will be based in their busy Hornby yard.
The role will provide a good level of variety as you will be responsible for working across a couple of core operating roles. Full training is provided.
This will include:
1. Operation of a material handler to load and unload customers and shipping containers.
2. Supply material to the automotive shredding mill, as well as operating the shredder itself.
The position is full-time, 44.5 hours per week with rotational Saturday morning work (on a roster basis, approximately every 3 weeks).
