Key Responsibilities:
1. Upkeep of consumables stock and tracking using Excel.
2. Ownership of accurate stock forecast documents, updated weekly.
3. Run a weekly client stock review session to influence/advise volume forecast commitments, in line with LINK lead times and current run rates.
4. Create delivery schedules for new/existing re-orders and track to completion.
5. Identify risk across the procurement and stock platforms via various reporting documents.
6. Conduct weekly meetings with HK contact to ensure timely identification of short, medium, and long-term issues.
7. Daily contact with LINK Third Party Warehouse for consumables.
8. Create and maintain product spec sheets for every new item, distributing to all applicable supply chain teams in collaboration with LINK suppliers.
9. Complete audit trails for all orders, collating and filing related documents within SharePoint.
10. Manage product issues identified through LINK to satisfactory resolution.
11. Own and drive to completion client pricing exercises and due diligence on new product ranges.
Client Management:
1. Conduct weekly client calls – both scheduled and ad hoc in conjunction with the wider Link account team.
2. Obtain new product cost approvals via the main client (Procurement).
3. Maintain frequent communication with suppliers regarding new product setup, call offs, stock reorders, etc.
4. Understand each division’s requirements for consumables, their order process, stock call off process, and re-order frequency.
Manufacturing Knowledge:
1. Good understanding of the manufacturing process and timelines for the suite of products.
2. Good understanding of receiving and Testing and Inspection reports.
3. Good understanding of overseas freight; imports, logistics, shipping terms.
Skills Required:
1. Advanced Excel skills are a must.
2. Experience with Teams for shared file management.
3. Strong team attitude.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
5. First-class organizational skills.
6. Proactive approach to stock management.
7. Experience of managing and working as part of a team.
8. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure.
9. Personable and professional character to build client rapport.
10. Confidence to instill trust in clients.
11. Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
12. Excellent problem-solving ability.
