They are looking for someone with a proven track record in Children's Services, who excels at building exceptional teams and quality systems. Purpose of Role:
As the Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the management and leadership of the Children's Home, ensuring high standards of care in alignment with regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children, managing safeguarding or child protection concerns promptly and according to regulations.
2. Provide high-quality care that meets the physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and cultural needs of the children. Create a caring, supportive, and nurturing environment where children feel secure and safe.
3. Operate within the frameworks of the Children's Acts of 1989 and 2004, the Children's Homes Regulations 2015, and other relevant legislation.
4. Support and promote each child's education, ensuring their school attendance is maintained.
5. Lead, develop, and supervise a dedicated staff team, providing the support and training they need to excel.
6. Oversee the creation and updating of each child's care plan to reflect their evolving needs.
7. Chair and participate in meetings and reviews as required.
8. Champion the children's ambitions, helping them achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
9. Empower children to actively participate in decisions about their lives and futures.
