A typical day in the life of a Creche Assistant: Create a warm, inclusive, and inviting atmosphere for children and their families. Greet parents and children in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive start to their creche experience. Plan and deliver a variety of activities tailored to different age groups, ranging from creative arts to physical play. Encourage children's engagement, creativity, and physical development through structured and free play. Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and wellbeing in accordance with safeguarding policies and procedures. Use the Club B facilities to provide a fun and secure environment for children. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the creche, ensuring all equipment and facilities are sanitised and ready for use. Set up and pack away activities, leaving the creche prepared for the next session. Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their child's experience and addressing any questions or concerns. Build trust and rapport with both parents and children to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience. What we are looking for: Be qualified in Early Years Level 2 or an equivalent qualification. Experience working with children in a childcare or similar setting. Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with parents and engage children effectively. Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Enthusiastic and passionate about working with children. Reliable, responsible, and attentive to detail. Ability to remain calm and patient in a dynamic environment. It would be desirable if you were qualified in Level 3 Early Years or an equivalent. It would also be advantageous if you had a Paediatric First Aid Certification. Why Bannatyne?
