The Role The Warehouse Operator/ CNC Cutter is responsible for executing various tasks within the warehouse, with a primary focus on bar saw cutting, picking and overall stock management of this department. This role demands meticulous attention to detail to maintain stock levels, ensure timely completion of orders, and effectively communicate with the Warehouse Team Leader regarding all matters related to the bar saws. Additionally, you are expected to fulfil the duties of a general warehouse operator by dealing with goods in and out. Key Responsibilities CNC Bar Cutting Ownership: Communicate any maintenance or supply needs to prevent interruptions on the bar saw cutting process to the Warehouse Manager Operational Tasks: Execute picking, cutting, and despatching tasks according to established procedures. Order Progress Monitoring: Report progress on orders to the Warehouse Manager, ensuring all tasks are completed within specified timeframes and handover notes/ instruction to the Warehouse Manager to pick up in the morning. Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organised workspace to facilitate smooth operations and ensure compliance with safety standards. Stock Assistance: Support stock management efforts by participating in stock counts and ensure stock is put away in the correct location. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve warehouse objectives and resolve any issues that may arise. Goods in and Out: Support the team with serving customers and taking in deliveries from suppliers. Locating goods in adequate areas of the warehouse and labelling stock accordingly.
